Advisor Opportunities Experience: Creating and Working with Opportunities from the Opportunity Tile

Utilizing Opportunities in Assessments

Once an advisor has completed an assessment, the next dashboard tile that comes into play is the opportunities tile.
  • Opportunities are triggered based on how an advisor answers certain questions in an assessment.
  • They help remove the guesswork and need for an in-depth coach analysis of assessments by utilizing the existing scoring methodology within the assessment to determine what the advisor should focus on next.

In the screenshot below, the advisor just completed the Business Health Assessment, and the opportunities from that assessment are shown in the Recommended Next Steps tile.

Note: The name of the opportunities tile may vary depending on how the dashboard and tile are configured.
In the above case, three opportunities were triggered by the Business Health Assessment:
  • Tighten Your Value Proposition
  • Optimize Your Referral Strategy
  • Improve Your Client Experience Model

To accept and begin the opportunity, simply click on the corresponding button on the tile or click on the opportunity name to view the opportunity details.

Changing Opportunity Status

To change the status of the opportunity:
  • Go to the Opportunities screen
  • Click on the Recommended button
  • Choose from the dropdown menu the desired status:
  • Accepted
  • Saved
  • Completed
  • Ignored

Opportunity Goals and Creation

Some opportunities may have goals (also known as roadmaps) associated with them. These goals provide a more detailed blueprint of possible next steps to take with an advisor.

In the example below, there are two available goals associated with the opportunity:
  • Define Your Differentiation
  • Define Your Mission / Vision / Values

To create a goal from the opportunity, click on the name of the desired goal to open the template details. The template can be customized to best fit the needs of an advisor. Be sure to select the Create Goal button to save and create the goal.

Managing Goals and Opportunities

After creating a goal, the user will experience the following changes:
  • The goal will appear under the Associated Goals section
  • It will display the Status, Percentage of Completion, and Due Date of the goal
  • A Report button will be available

Additionally, while working on an opportunity, the user can add a note to capture relevant information.
