Overview of Automated User Provisioning & Hierarchy

Users may be manually created in SuccessPro. An email, first name, & last name are typically the three basic pieces of information needed. As the number of users grows, so do different sets of content and segments of users. The need to manage Content Groups, Access Keys, Access Key Groups, Teams, etc. will also increase.

Rather than an employee attempting to administer thousands of users, manually or via CSV uploads, ActiFi recommends that all clients implement an automated exchange of data for provisioning users. Business rules may then be programmed so that a daily file is processed to automatically create and update users. Users may be placed in different access keys, content groups, teams, etc. In addition, business rules may be created for home office users such as program managers, coaches, consultants, relationship managers, etc., to automatically have their permission levels set via managed access keys to easily work with these users.

It is a best practice to implement automated user provisioning & hierarchy because it helps save time and avoid issues.
