Creating a Module for a Program

Navigate to the admin screen by clicking on user's name in upper right corner and selecting Admin
From admin, click -programs. In this example, the program name is Help Center Guide
Next, Click +Add Program. Enter program name, default length, and sequence.

From admin, under Access & Grouping, click -Content Groups to add a content group for the program.
In the Content Group screen, click +Add Content Group to add the content group name. To stay consistent, use the program name as the content group name. Here the program name will be Help Center Guide
From Admin, Under Roadmap content, clickObjective Paths to add roadmaps/ objective path content for the program. There are 3 levels of objective paths to add: The High level, The mid-level , and the detailed level.

In -Objective Paths, click Add to add a *high level objective for the roadmaps in the program.
In the Add screen, check the active box , enter the high level object path name, description, sequence (if there are multiple high level paths to add), choose an appropriate icon, then hit Save.
After saving, you can Add another high level objective path. You can also edit or delete the existing high level objective path to add a new one by clicking on it.
To add the *mid-level objective path for the program, click on the high level objective path you have created as shown above, and click on Add as shown in the screenshot below.
In the Add screen, check the active box , enter the mid- level object path name, description, sequence (if there are multiple mid-level paths to add), choose an appropriate icon, then hit Save.
To add the detailed level objective path, click on the mid-level objective path and click Add as shown in the screenshot below.

In the Add screen, check the Active box, enter the detailed-level object path name, description, sequence (if there are multiple mid-level paths to add), choose an appropriate icon, then hit Save.
After adding all objective paths, click on the detailed level objective path, then click Edit Objective Path Content to add Roadmap Recommendations as shown below.

In the Edit Objective Path Content screen, click Add Goal , to add the goal or general purpose for the program. Add name, Question, Description, Target Value Type, check the active button, and click Save , as shown below.

After saving, set the default goal due date. This will be the number of days each roadmap and it’s recommendation(s) in your program is set to be due. You can also choose the ability for roadmap progress to be set manually by unchecking the Progress is Calculated box.

After setting the default goal due date, you can add Recommendations for your program roadmaps, by clicking on Add Recommendation.

In the Add Recommendation screen, add recommendation name, Instructions/description, sequence (in which the roadmap appears), & leave the Default selection State checked if you want the recommendation to be selected whenever a roadmap is created. Uncheck it if not, and save recommendation.
Just like roadmap objective paths, you can add as many recommendations per roadmap as required by the program.

After adding recommendations, Add and enable Tags. Tags allow you to associate certain roadmap topics with users, and other custom content. To add a Tag, go to admin in a new tab, under Access & Grouping, and click - Tags

In the Tag screen, click +Add Tag
In the add tag screen, add tag name, select Tag type (You can select roadmap or user tag types) and hit save.

After saving the tag, go back to your detailed objective path, and Click on Edit Objective Path Content. (This is how you will add new recommendations, edit existing recommendations, and enable tags). In the edit Objective Path Content Screen, enable and associate your created tag by searching for the created tag, and clicking the forward arrow as shown below:

Linking created objective paths, roadmaps, and recommendations to program content group and users. Go to admin. Under Access & Grouping click -Content Groups

In the Content Groups screen, search for the content group you created for the program, here Help Center Guide, and click view as shown in the screenshot below. Note: ignore the default group assignment warning. Unless you want to set a content group as a default for all users or programs.

In the view screen, you can choose which user types have visibility to this content. You can also set the sequence for this content group, when a user in is multiple content groups that have tiles. You will then click on Objective Path relations as shown below to link created objective paths, roadmaps, and recommendations to the Content group.
After clicking on Objective Path Relations, search for the paths created for the program. Here, Help Center Guide High Level, Mid level, Detailed level, and click the forward arrow to enable/link the paths to the content group.

Now, navigate to, and click on User Relations, to link users to the program content group, by searching for the user and clicking the forward arrow button to enable/link the user. You can also link tags (Tag Relations) and assessments (Assessment Relations) to the program content group in this section.

Note : Users have to exist, or have to be created before you can link them to a content group in this section.

Next, Link the program to the content group. Go to Admin, click -Programs

In the Programs screen, search for the program name and click to view.

In the view screen, move the content group to the selected templates side.

After checking the content group, click the Module Tab to set the triggering of Roadmaps and Assessments for the Program. Select the module or assessment to add and click the Add Module button. Under Content Group in the pop-up. Select your Program Content Group, here “Help Center Guide”, and click on the corresponding paths as shown below.
Note: After adding Modules, you can also set roadmap triggering options, by clicking Edit on the Roadmap Module added, as shown below.
In the Edit screen, you can set Roadmap Progress Tracking options, Roadmaps triggering logic, and if you want Roadmaps to Autogenerate whenever a class is created for your Program. Hit Save whenever you edit any default options.
Note: When you set your Program roadmap triggering logic to the default, Standard, the roadmap modules for your program will generate on the same day your class is created. Even if you set your class start date to a future date.
-If you set your program Roadmap triggering logic to On Class-Specific Date, the roadmaps module for your program will generate on the date that you will set in screenshot 2*. You will only see this screen if you set your roadmap triggering logic to On Class-Specific Date.

In this scenario, Class start date was set to 02/27/2025, but roadmap modules will be generated on the class specific date: 04/01/2025.
-if you set your program roadmap triggering logic to Offset from Class start date, you must enter the number of offset days from the class start date that you would like your program roadmap modules to generate, as shown below:
This is what you will see in the  creating a class  screens when you have opted for this triggering logic.
In this scenario, the class has been created, but the modules will not generate until after 5 days from the class start date of 02/27/2025.


And VIOLA! You have created a program! You can now proceed to creating tiles for the program and adding resources.
