We are contacting you regarding an optional security feature from Salesforce called API Access Control. This is an advanced feature that is not enabled by default and must be specifically requested from Salesforce. For your administrator's reference, official documentation on this feature is available here: Control API Access for an Integration .
Its purpose is to give administrators central control over all API integrations by creating a strict "allowlist" of approved applications for their entire organization. When this feature is enabled, Salesforce will no longer support API connections using the traditional username-password method. As a result, our current integration connecting to your system would be deprecated.
Our team has developed a fully compatible solution using the JWT Auth Bearer Flow. If you decide to enable the API Access Control feature, we are ready to partner with your salesforce administrators to ensure a coordinated and seamless transition.
To facilitate this, we ask that you forward this information to the appropriate team administering your Salesforce instance.
If your team does not plan on implementing API Access Control, no further action is needed.
