Multiple Ways to Communicate and Engage with Others

Overview

Effective communication is the key ingredient in any collaborative process. Business communication is an essential part of day-to-day efficiency. When the participant is able to voice opinions and share ideas and/or concerns, relationships improve and productivity follows. The three most common delivery channels of communication are one-on-one (1:1), one-to-few (small group), or zero-to-many (self-service method).

One-on-One (1:1)

Whether you are an individual contributor or a team leader, you can create impactful one-on-one meetings. Sometimes, these meetings are between coaches, mentors, and peers. With preparation and a collaborative agenda, these engagements create an open, meaningful dialog that reduces barriers to success and helps to overcome challenges.
SuccessPro provides an agenda with items that can be automatically populated within a meeting or items can be customized.

One-to-Few (Small Group) Using the Program Functionality in SuccessPro

Small group work encourages team members to collaborate in a time-efficient way. More senior or skilled team members have the opportunity to pass their knowledge on to others which provides more siloed team members a chance to share ideas in a less intimidating environment. Small groups bring complementary skills and tribal knowledge together to share a common goal. One example is leveraging the program functionality in SuccessPro. The road maps within a program can act as an agenda to create dialog and share thoughts. Each participant can take notes within their own program record. Below is an example:

Zero-to-Many (Self-service)

The concept of self-service allows you to provide support and information without a facilitator. Examples would include on-demand news updates, FAQs, online learning platforms, and chat capabilities. This type of engagement requires additional resources that support the topic or communication as well as a person to contact for questions.
